Early morning skies over Albuquerque begin blue-black. The overcast skies that develop in late afternoon are the homogenitus clouds formed from human flight.

July of 2021 saw beautiful golden-orange sunsets in the Northeast. The particularly unusual cast of the skies near dusk found their origin in massive wildfires raging in California and the northwest, 3,000 miles away. This series is a meditation on this condition.
